What to do now

Gather bills and roof access notes, then request a visit.

1. Find a recent electricity bill and note your retailer or utility.
2. Stay off the roof — photos from the ground are enough for a first look.
3. Note whether you want new solar, a battery, repairs or an expansion.
4. Have strata or body-corporate contacts ready if the roof is common property.
5. Send the request form.
6. Ask about CEC accreditation and DNSP applications before signing.
